Mr. Oyer's presentation will include: For new contractors: Compliance, establishing indirect cost rates - New contractors must establish that they are properly allocating costs to contracts and that unallowable costs are not included in prices and billings. If a contractor cannot establish that it has an acceptable contract cost accounting system, the government cannot award that contractor a cost reimbursement contract.
T&M contracts - Some prime a Time and Material contracts allow a prime contractor to invoice their customers at rates established in the contract for BOTH prime and sub contract efforts. Other T&M contracts require that subcontractor costs be invoiced at cost only—no prime contractor profit. How do you, as a prime contractor, know which is appropriate for your contract?
