Experience

During his 13-year career, Darren has served clients in various capacities in the accounting and auditing practice. Most recently, Darren has had an active role in developing and advancing the firm’s Risk Advisory and Outsourced Audit Services, which includes enterprise risk management, internal auditing, Sarbanes Oxley compliance, SAS-70 reviews and similar operational and control evaluations.

In these roles, Darren has provided customized solutions to public and privately owned companies in the small to middle markets of various industries, with concentrations in manufacturing, distribution, and financial institutions.

Education and Professional Development

Darren graduated cum laude from Millersville University in Pennsylvania with a BS degree in Business Administration. He is a certified public accountant and a certified internal auditor and is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Internal Auditors.

 
Community Involvement 

Darren is active in various community organizations. He is a graduate of the Leadership York program and currently serves as treasurer of the York Day Nursery, Inc, and is on the Finance Committee of the Strand Capitol Performing Arts Center.
