Experience

Since 1997, Cheryl K. Smyers has been working to grow the Stambaugh Ness marketing initiative including assistance with the development of internal and external communications programs, collateral materials, service niches, related processes, training, and research. She serves on the Business Development Team and is administrator of the firm's website. She also edits the firm's weekly eNewsletter and is a Certified BizActions Consultant for the BizActions Business Development System.

Her previous experience includes work as a daily newspaper reporter, photographer and section editor; development of a hospital public relations department; and serving as Division Director for the York Division of the American Heart Association.

Education and Professional Development

Cheryl graduated from Shippensburg University with a BA Degree in Communications. She has attended a variety of graphics, marketing, and communications seminars and marketing conferences and was trained by Stambaugh Ness as an Incisive Advisor.

Community Involvement

Cheryl is a member and previous board member of the Women's Network of York and a member of New Friends of York. She is also a member of the Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM) organization and served previously on the AAM's Communications Committee.
